Completed in 1985, the building houses science classrooms
and laboratories as well as the Bailey Science Museum, which includes
the Webster Collection. The facility also is home to the
OBU Planetarium, the only
university-based planetarium in Oklahoma and one of two public-access
planetariums in the state. Construction was made possible through a
substantial initial gift from the W.P. Wood Foundation of Shawnee.
