The University Ringers Handbell Choir from Oklahoma Baptist University is recognized as one of America's most outstanding bell choirs. The 10-member audition group, directed by Mary Kay Parrish, rings five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and three octaves of Malmark Choir Chimes. In 1990, the group was included in the first edition of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers' publication, Handbells in Education, as one of two college handbell programs in the United States designated as "Exemplary." They have been featured at the AGEHR National Directors' Convention in Dallas and on the Southern Baptist Church Music Conference program in St. Louis. They have also appeared with Diane Bish on her syndicated television program, "The Joy of Music." Each year the Ringers maintain a full schedule of concerts in Oklahoma and Texas in addition to a tour. Tours have taken them to 26 states from California to New York, Florida to Michigan.

Collage, a CD collection of the University Ringers' favorite songs from over the years, is now available.
