MISSION
OF THE MABEE LEARNING CENTER
The
Mabee Learning Center of Oklahoma Baptist University provides balanced
access to, or ownership of, recent and/or retrospective materials regardless
of medium. All materials collected are in concert with the university's
religious affiliation, as well as the pedagogy of the university's colleges
and various academic departments.
VISION
OF THE MABEE LEARNING CENTER
The
benchmark of early Christian libraries exceeded their secular counterparts
in virtually every detail. In the pursuit of recapturing that spirit,
the Mabee Learning Center energetically seeks to offer the best research
materials available to students regardless of format via traditional
means, state-of-the-art electronic access or document delivery. The
MLC actively pursues these ends in accordance with the university's
mission, official library standards, and in concurrence with the demands
of excellence.
